Construction of a house to breed guinea pigs

In the agricultural high schools "Monsignor Leonidas Proaño " of Tepeyac Gatazo and Lirio we completed the construction of a small building to be used for the breeding of guinea pig (cuy).

The aim is to facilitate the education of breeding techniques and the reproduction of the animals, as the cuy is a common dish served in the area.

Now, the students of the two high schools will have a space where they can prepare the cuy and practice what they have learned.
