Third Race for Friendship

On Saturday, August 1, 2009, the third race for friendship was carried out in the indigenous zone of Colta County (Chimborazo). 85 people participated from different communities.

The first place winner was Enrique Morocho from Toropamba who ran 10 km with a time of 01:04:30.

Of the women’s category (who ran a smaller distance), the best time was fromAna Veronica Parco from Cochaloma, who arrived with a time of 1:03:00.

At the end of the face, the athletes and the public reunited in La Esperanza where a lunch feast hosted nearly 600 people.
